So I’ve continued my looking and talking with friends down in LA and it seems that a decent 1 bedroom with parking in Weho is going ot run me around 1000 a month. M and I pay 1100 for a 2 bed 1 bath on Cap Hill (the equivilant of Weho) here in Seattle. We have parking, storage and a washer/dryer in our unit. All things considered living there as opposed to here, its just planin more expensive to live there. I did come acros an interesting statistic, we have more crime than per 100,000 , 10,311 for Seattle versus 6,725 for Los Angeles. LA has 2x as many Clear/Sunny days as we do 143 to 57 although from were I stand it seems the opposite has been true ths winter. Well, I’m heading towards those sunny days this coming March. March 25th through the 28th. I’ll be staying in West Hollywood, catching up with friends and soaking up the sun. Its been almost 2 years since I’ve been back to LA, quite a long time. I’m looking forward to it and after talking with some other LA transplants here have found that they just incorporate a trip every so often to counteract the depressing effects of the Seattle weather. Since I’m not moving back to LA anytime in the next year or so, I really should just do the same.
