it’s 11pm and still its 76 degrees here in Seattle. I am longing for the Fall to get here or at least for the warmer weather to go away. I went out last Saturday, it was a lot of fun. Mike didn’t go with me for a change which was different. I met some friends and made some new ones too. I like that I meet people that I get together with outside of the bar scene, and I find it unfortunate that the majority of people I meet I meet there. I guess if I involved myself with social groups that interested me I meet folks I’m just not as motivated to do that. My Tivo recorded wigstock along with a bunch of other things. I hungout and watched those tonight. I’m just playing catchup with LJ before I head to bed. Work has been pretty slow lately, no big projects and few tickets have been coming in. They’ve loaded S up with responsibilitys, she does a really good job with them from what I can tell. E has been there long enough (4+ years) that he knows what to do to keep himself busy. I on the otherhand, grab whatever tickets come in, maek my rounds to make sure everyone is taken care of and read technical journals inbetween. Public sector jobs aren’t like private sector ones in so many ways. There is so much less pressure to do or at least look like your doing then there si in Private sector jobs. I’m going to post this as I’m concurrently installing SP2 for WinXP on one of my machines. So much of doing good tech is being incredibly patient.
