At 9:46pm this evening, Our baby-girl, Lucy passed over to be with her sister Ethel, who passed on May 1, 2000. I’m sad that she isn’t with us anymore but I’m also relieved and happy for her that she isn’t uncomfortable and without the cancer anymore. She passed quietly and in my arms while Mike stroked her fur right behind her neck were she like it. She was a playful and happy rattie all of her life. Even with her tumors she would play and climb. When she was a little rattie, she and her sister would climb in bathrobe sleeve and sit inside on my lap while I played on the computer. She enjoyed many snacks and treats, particularly chocolate, and cheese-nips which were her favorite. Mike and I will miss her, she was a wonderful companion-pet. We will be cremating her so that she can join her sister, Ethel in the flowering bush we have for them. This way they can be with us wherever we are. I love you baby girl.
